PRODUCT EXCHANGE & WARRANTY POLICY

The Company

PC Depot and ph&co are the cash and carry retail store managed by PKU Technology Sdn Bhd (PKU). Goods sold are not returnable or exchangeable. In case of defects, please refer to our warranty & exchange policy. We will do our best to assist our customers in the warranty claim. However, the warranty claim must fulfil all the requirements below to be eligible. We reserve the right to reject any exchange, warranty cases deemed unfit or unreasonable.

Product Exchange Policy (In-Store Purchase)

  1. One to One exchange of products within 5 days is applicable for in-store purchase, applicable for selected products only. The exchange is also subject to stock availability and if only:
  •         The product is verified as 'Manufacturer's Defect' after checking by our technician team.
  •         The product, product’s packaging and all its original content (including accessories, any software and manuals) is complete and in good condition.
  •         The product is accompanied with original purchase receipt
  1. Please take note that products such as Projectors, Monitors, Software, Tablets, Smartphones, Branded Desktops, Printers, Laptops and consumables (e.g. Ink Cartridges or Toners) are not available for a One to One exchange and must be sent to manufacturer’s service center for any required warranty services.
  2. Exchange request for product which is working fine but found incompatible with customer’s PC or laptop will not be entertained.
  3. You are required to bring along the original invoice for verification purposes. Claim without original invoice will not be entertained.

Product Exchange Policy (Online Purchase)

  1. One to One exchange of products within 5 days is applicable for web store purchase, applicable for selected products only. The exchange is also subject to stock availability and if only:
  •         The product is verified as 'Manufacturer's Defect' after checking by our technician team.
  •         The product, product’s packaging and all its original content (including accessories, any software and manuals) is complete and in good condition.
  •         The product is accompanied with original purchase receipt

For exchange or warranty purposes, customer will need to email to us within 5days from the date of invoice, at custcare@phco.my, include the following details in the email – Order No, Invoice no, Contact No, Product to exchange and Faulty Reason. Our customer service will contact you and provide you with complete return instructions.
  4. Customers will have to bear the postage fees for shipping items(s) back to us for exchange process.

 

Product Warranty Policy

  1. All sales are considered final; no refund will be entertained.
  2. PKU warranty policy is in accordance with the terms and conditions of its respective suppliers.
  3. PKU will provide warranty service for delivery to (and from) the manufacturer’s Service Centre based on supplier/principal’s given period - 3 or 6 months, 1 year, or more than 1 year.
  4. For items which come with warranty of more than 1 year, we will cover warranty service for 1st year only. After 1st year, warranty handling fee & delivery fee will be charged.  
  5. To claim warranty, customer needs to send back the product to any of our retail outlets or ph&co HQ office located at Prai, Butterworth, at customer own cost. The return of the repaired product back to customer will also by customer own cost.
  6. Physical damage and software issues is not covered under warranty.
  7. For exchange or warranty purposes (Online Purchase), customer needs to email us before shipping the goods back to us. Please include the following details in the email – Order No, Invoice No, Name, Contact No, Product to exchange, Faulty Reason. Our customer service will provide you with the complete return instructions.
  8. The products warranty period will be according to the first Invoice issued date.
  9. You are required to bring along the original invoice for verification purposes. Claim without original invoice will not be entertained.

Manufacturer's Warranty

Some of the products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. You can contact directly to manufacturer or service center for warranty details or to claim a warranty. Alternatively, our sales team or customer service colleague will be able to provide you with the warranty info during your purchase.

 

PH&CO – SERVICE WARRANTY POLICY

Most of our technical repairing and upgrading service come with limited time warranty. Our technician will be able to provide you more information on the service warranty prior to your order. Please find below our service code and warranty details.

SERVICE CODE: SC30

  • Job performs carry ONE (1) month warranty only.
  • Repeated case within warranty period is Free of Charge (FOC).
  • If a device diagnosed to be unrepairable, we will refund the money to you.
  • Fees quoted inclusive of Handling Charges and maximum RM500.00 insurance coverage for "Damage or Loss in Transit" between Ph&co . PC Depot and designated service center.
  • Charges with code (WSC1) is not refundable or transferable.

 

SERVICE CODE: SC29, SC31 ~ SC40, SC43, SC50

  • Job performs carry THREE (3) months warranty only.
  • Repeated case within warranty period is Free of Charge (FOC).
  • If a device diagnosed to be unrepairable, we will refund the money to you.
  • Fees quoted inclusive of Handling Charges and maximum RM500.00 insurance coverage for "Damage or Loss in Transit" between Ph&co . PC Depot and designated service center.
  • Charges with code (WSC1) is not refundable or transferable.
